Appeal Allowed - Paragraph 80e House Approved

We are delighted to announce that planning permission has been allowed at Appeal for another Paragraph 80e home of exceptional quality.

This is our third Para 80e approval since the founding of the firm in 2020 and represents a 100% success record.

With the site forming part of a former WWII RAF airfield known for De Havilland Mosquitos, the design process culminated with a dwelling inspired by the famous fast bomber.

Axiom Planning were asked to lead the appeal process following an unsuccessful application managed by a different planning consultancy. Through a rigorous and diligent process our team worked collaboratively with the design team comprising Hawkes Architecture and Squires Young Landscape Architecture.

This was an important appeal from the perspective of engaging independent Design Review Panels over those preferred by the Local Planning Authority. Our team stuck to their guns and articulated why the Local Authority were wrong to disregard the national and independent Design Review Panel. The Inspector agreed with our arguments and overall approach.

This is a truly outstanding design and will provide a policy compliant home in the Cambridgeshire countryside.
