Landscape Focused

Every site presents a unique set of ingredients to consider when it comes to development potential. One ingredient which is too often overlooked is landscape. Specifically, whether the landscape has the capacity to accommodate newly built form. Regardless of whether the proposed design is of exceptional quality, consideration must first be given to the appropriateness of built form in the wider landscape as a matter of principle.

These images were taken during one of our recent appraisal site visits and present a powerful set of landscape features. Is the site suitable for a dwelling of exceptional quality? That answer will be forthcoming once we’ve completed a thorough analysis of the Planning Landscape and interwoven the key landscape characteristics. Once we have a full understanding, we can advise accordingly.

To rush the first step could lead to expensive corrections later on, or worse, result in failure.
